Sheikh Zayed (may he rest in peace) with Sheikh Salem bin Ham Al Amri
Al Awamir tribe history
Al Awamir is a Hawazani, Qaysi, Mudarite, Adnani tribe, and the Qays tribes were known for bravery and chivalry across history.
Banu Amir ibn Sa'sa'a was among the most populous tribes, renowned for strength and producing notable poets and knights.
Delegations from Banu Amir visited the Prophet (peace be upon him), and many of their daughters married companions and dignitaries in early Islam.
